Basketball Game Preview: Clewiston Tigers vs. Oasis Sharks

Clewiston is 0-4 against Oasis since December of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Clewiston Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Oasis Sharks at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Clewiston is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against LaBelle, falling 73-34.

Meanwhile, Oasis managed to keep up with Palmetto Ridge until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Oasis came up short against Palmetto Ridge, falling 58-37. While the Sharks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 14-6 in the first quarter.

Clewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Oasis, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.

Clewiston couldn't quite finish off Oasis in their previous meeting back in January of 2019 and fell 59-57. Thankfully for Clewiston, Kylar Frias (who went 10 of 12 on his way to 23 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
