Softball Recap: Orem Tigers vs. Uintah Utes
After a string of three wins, Orem's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Uintah Utes by a score of 11-10. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Orem in their matchups with Uintah: they've now lost six in a row.
Orem got a good showing from Kiley Hoshnic, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and ten unearned) runs off five hits (she also only allowed one walk).

Orem's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Uintah, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Orem will head out on the road to challenge Payson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Orem knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy run totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Payson likes a good challenge.
