Basketball Recap: Exeter Beats Orosi for Their Sixth Straight Win

Exeter extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Aden Plyman. The Monarchs walked away with a 66-54 victory over the Orosi Cardinals on Saturday with plenty of help from Plyman, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. Plyman is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Haidon Wilcox, who posted ten points in addition to seven assists and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Despite the loss, Orosi still got an impressive performance from Ramiro Garcia, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 19 boards. Michael Corrales was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Orosi, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Exeter will take on Lindsay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Orosi, they will challenge Kingsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
