Basketball Recap: Hopewell Valley Central Takes a Loss

If Hopewell Valley Central was feeling good fresh off their 41-21 takedown of West Windsor-Plainsboro North last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs were beaten by the Immaculata Spartans 48-21 on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Hopewell Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Immaculata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Hopewell Valley Central will be home for the holidays to greet Bound Brook at 11:15 a.m. on Monday. As for Immaculata, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Morris Mendham at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
