It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Palmyra-Macedon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Geneva Panthers 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Palmyra-Macedon pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Geneva, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
