Football Recap: Ocoee Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Ocoee and Sumner squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ocoee had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Stingrays and fell 44-13. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Ocoee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dariyon Gordon and Kamari Shaw.

Taesean Robinson was his usual excellent self, picking up 102 receiving yards and three touchdowns for Sumner. That's the most receiving touchdowns Robinson has posted since back in September of 2024.

Ocoee now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Sumner, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Ocoee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sumner, they will head out to take on Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Stingrays will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
