Basketball Game Preview: Tyner Academy Rams vs. East Hamilton Hurricanes

The Tyner Academy Rams will head out to square off against the East Hamilton Hurricanes at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Tyner Academy will be strutting in after a victory while East Hamilton will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Tyner Academy beat Ooltewah 60-48. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, East Hamilton played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 70-38 loss at the hands of Polk County. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

The victory got Tyner Academy back to even at 1-1. As for East Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Tyner Academy skirted past East Hamilton 49-46 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
