Basketball Recap: Montevideo Has No Trouble Against Sauk Centre

Montevideo won the last time they faced Sauk Centre and things went their way on Friday too. The Montevideo Thunderhawks were the clear victor by a 72-51 margin over the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters. The Thunderhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Montevideo and bumps their season record up to 9-1. As for Sauk Centre, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Montevideo will venture away from home to face off against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Montevideo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Sauk Centre, they will be playing at home against Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Albany will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Sauk Centre surely won't give up without a fight.
