Southeast strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bayshore Bruins. That's more bragging rights for the Seminoles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Southeast was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-9, 25-11.

Southeast had a senior duo take command as Mellise Bush had 12 digs and four aces and Jaeda Dean had five kills, three aces, and one block. Bush is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Southeast was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Southeast's record now sits at 8-0. As for Bayshore, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Southeast will challenge Bell Creek Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayshore will be paying especially close attention to the Seminoles' match: after the Seminoles face off against Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they'll take on Bayshore again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
