There's no place like home for Powell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks 69-66. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 91-57 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Powell's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for Hardin Valley Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.
