Softball Recap: Sumner Comes Up Short

Sumner and Winslow squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sumner had to settle for second. They came up short against the Black Raiders, falling 21-13. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sumner's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Winslow, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Sumner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winslow, they will venture away from home to take on Bucksport on Thursday. The Black Raiders will need to watch out since the Golden Bucks have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
