Baseball Recap: Brilliant Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pickens County on Monday, Brilliant came back down to earth. The Brilliant Tigers fell just short of the Pickens County Tornadoes by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tornadoes earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

Brilliant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pickens County, the win snapped their losing streak at 18 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Brilliant Tigers duke it out with Hackleburg Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pickens County, they will face off against Hubbertville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
