Soccer Game Preview: Sand Creek vs. Falcon + How To Watch

The Sand Creek Scorpions will head out to take on the Falcon Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Falcon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sand Creek, who comes in off a win.

Sand Creek barely beat Sierra the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scorpions' defense stepped up to hand the Stallions a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Sand Creek as it spelled an end to their eight-match losing streak.

They hit Sierra with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden Fox, Ryan Garcia Cardona, and Gabe Miller.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Falcon was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of The Classical Academy by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Falcon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while The Classical Academy are ranked 38th).

Sand Creek's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Falcon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Sand Creek suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Falcon when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Scorpions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
