Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Piles Up the Points Against Southeast Bulloch + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Andrew). They blew past the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets, posting a 59-11 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. Andrew's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valerie Ward, who went 8-for-16 en route to 17 points along with eight steals and five assists. Those 17 points gave Ward a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubri Rutledge, who shot 54% from the field on her way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

St. Andrew's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will venture away from home to take on South Effingham at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will challenge Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
