Recap: Northeast Eagles vs. St. Charles

Northeast extended their postseason success on Friday against St. Charles. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Charles and snuck past 69-66. Winning may never get old, but Northeast sure is getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Despite the loss, St. Charles had strong showings from Xavier Buchanan, who scored 31 points along with seven rebounds, and Shamir Taylor, who scored 22 points along with two blocks. Tajir Webster was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and two blocks.

Northeast has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for St. Charles, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.
