Three Rivers and Edwardsburg are an even 4-4-2 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Wildcats will head out to take on the Eddies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Three Rivers comes in on three and Edwardsburg on eight.

On Thursday, Three Rivers was able to grind out a solid victory over Niles, taking the game 3-1.

Three Rivers walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 9-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Three Rivers can attribute much of their success to Leah Kane, who had nine digs and two aces, and Peyton Roberts, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Roberts has posted since back in September. Abigail Pettit also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Meanwhile, Edwardsburg got the win against Lakeshore on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Three Rivers' record now sits at 22-11-3. As for Edwardsburg, their record is now 24-8.

Three Rivers couldn't quite get it done against Edwardsburg in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
