Basketball Recap: Gideon Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Gideon won the last time they faced Cooter and things went their way on Friday too. The Gideon Bulldogs put the hurt on the Cooter Wildcats with a sharp 70-46 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Wildcats since January 31, 2020.

Gideon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Cooter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gideon will take on Holcomb at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Cooter has already played their next game (against Greenville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
