Softball Recap: Wolfson Wolfpack vs. Eagle's View Warriors
Wolfson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagle's View Warriors a 17-0 shutout. The Wolfpack have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.
Madison Saling was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Sarah Wisniewski was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Peyton Brown was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
