Basketball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Monett Cubs 66-37. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Monett, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will welcome Carl Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monett, they will challenge Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
