Basketball Preview: Hand Tigers vs. Branford Hornets
The Hand Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Branford Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Hand is ranked 76th, while the Hornets are ranked 90th).
On Saturday, Hand came up short against the Wildcats and fell 51-44. Hand has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Branford also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Grizzlies by a score of 56-49.
Hand's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Branford, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Hand took their victory against the Hornets in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 63-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hand since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
