Basketball Game Recap: Chetopa Hornets vs. Oswego Indians

The Chetopa Hornets lost against the Oswego Indians back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Chetopa was beaten by Oswego 65-26. Chetopa has not had much luck with Oswego recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Tanner O'Neal was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 23 points along with 9 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Hutchinson, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oswego, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chetopa will face off against Tyro Christian on Tuesday. As for Oswego, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Paul at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
