Preview: Hagerty vs. Lake Howell
This Friday at 7:00 PM, Hagerty (5-2) faces Lake Howell (3-4). Hagerty has never lost back-to-back, and it wants to keep it that way.
Hagerty's three-game winning streak came to an end two weeks ago. It had a lot of difficulties with East Ridge last game and took a hard 29 - 7 hit. Hagerty unfortunately couldn't repeat the imposing 33-point effort it came up with in its previous game.
As for Lake Howell, it entered its match with back-to-back losses but put those troubles behind it. It got a somewhat close 20 - 14 victory over Ocoee last week. No one had a larger role in the success than senior Sean Russaw, who brought his A game into the contest. He ran for 119 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. Russaw has been a consistent playmaker for Lake Howell as this was the 4th good game in a row from him.
The last time they met, Hagerty really took it to Lake Howell, winning 49 - 7. Can Hagerty repeat its success? We'll find out this Friday.
