Recap: Blue Valley Rams vs. Troy Trojans

The Blue Valley Rams were the 64-63 winner over the Troy Trojans when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Blue Valley fell just short of Troy by a score of 50-48. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Blue Valley has scored all season.

Troy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Hartman out in front who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Christian Etherton, who scored 17 points.

Blue Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Troy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Frankfort on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Frankfort has three straight victories, Blue Valley has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field. Troy will be home for the holidays to greet Clifton-Clyde at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clifton-Clyde presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Troy in Kansas (Clifton-Clyde is ranked 12th, while Troy is ranked 211th).
