Softball Recap: St. John's Triumphs

It's playoff time, and St. John had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the DC International Dragons a 17-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cadets considering their one-run performance the game before.

The victory got St. John's back to even at 11-11. As for DC International, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-9.

Coming up, St. John's will face off against National Cathedral at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. John's pitchers better be ready for this one: National Cathedral has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. DC International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
