Softball Recap: Edinburgh Comes Up Short

Edinburgh fell victim to Center Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Trojans. The defeat continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Edinburgh saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenna Streeval, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Edinburgh's record is now 14-10. As for Center Grove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edinburgh will take on Waldron at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Center Grove, they will challenge Tri-West Hendricks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
