Softball Recap: Red Bluff Takes a Loss

Red Bluff had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Inderkum Tigers by a score of 7-5. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Piper Tyler made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Inderkum and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Red Bluff will take on Marysville at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Inderkum, they will face off against Pleasant Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
