Walnut Grove won the last time they faced Scholars Guild Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Walnut Grove easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-20.

Zoe Moser paced Walnut Grove's offense, picking up ten kills. Moser got some help from Bella Johnson and her 23 assists. Riley Bramblett controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Scholars Guild Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-6 record.

Coming up, Walnut Grove will host Flowery Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy on the 12th.
