Volleyball Recap: Black River's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Black River extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Remington Dieter. The Pirates put the hurt on the Lucas Cubs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday thanks in part to Dieter, who had 17 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Black River won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24, 25-10.

Black River's record now sits at 14-4. As for Lucas, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Black River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Wellington on the 30th. As for Lucas, they will square off against Cardington-Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
