Basketball Recap: San Juan's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

The San Juan Spartans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 53-47 to the Williams Yellowjackets. The loss put an end to the Spartans' undefeated start to the season.

Leading Williams to victory were Miguel Murillo and Moises Vargas. Murillo posted 19 points, while Vargas put up 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, San Juan fell to 2-1. As for Williams, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, San Juan will face off against Foresthill at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williams, they will square off against Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
