Soccer Recap: Anacortes Comes Up Short

Anacortes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Anacortes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Archbishop Murphy are ranked 25th).

Anacortes' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-2. As for Archbishop Murphy, they pushed their record up to 12-2-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Anacortes nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
