Godwin took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Hanover, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Hawks on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 18th.

The win made it two in a row for Godwin and bumps their season record up to 9-10. As for Hanover, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Godwin will challenge J.R. Tucker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
