Basketball Recap: Alvarado Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hillsboro

There's no place like home for Alvarado, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Hillsboro Eagles by a score of 63-56 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Hillsboro lost, don't look at Conner Creech. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Creech a new career-high in points. Kameron Rose was another key player, putting up six points and seven boards.

Alvarado's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Hillsboro, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
