Barrett Fallon Goes Supernova in Davenport Win
Starting off the list is Davenport's Barrett Fallon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fallon rushed for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
Fredericksburg's probably not too fond of Fallon given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Fallon saw the Billies), he rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown.

Erik Coronado Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Pleasanton was led to victory by Erik Coronado, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Coronado rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (104.3) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
Pleasanton moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Coronado will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Fredericksburg on Friday.

James Garza Has Career Rushing Day
James Garza posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.8).
Canyon Lake's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Garza and Canyon Lake will venture away from home to take on Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Cade Segura Leads Pleasanton over John F. Kennedy
Pleasanton was led to victory by Cade Segura, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Segura threw for 116 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
This season, Segura has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 181.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 17.92 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 104.82 passer rating.

On Friday, Fredericksburg had to settle for second even though Brooks Immel put up the best numbers he has all season. Immel rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Immel has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 172.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 79.57 passing yards per game.
