Warren Central came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Warren Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Guerin Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Warren Central will take on Purdue Polytechnic in a tournament on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Techies have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Guerin Catholic, they will square off against Kouts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
