It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lubbock Christian had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They came out on top against the Covenant Christian Cougars by a score of  49-40. The  victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on 18 straight.
 Despite the loss, Covenant Christian still got an impressive performance from   Lucas Wallace, who  posted 15  points along with six  boards and four  steals. Wallace is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's  played.
Lubbock Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Covenant Christian,  with the  loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-12.
 Lubbock Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  53-50  victory against McKinney Christian Academy on the 28th. Covenant Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
