Softball Recap: Mojave Comes Up Short

Mojave fell victim to Southeast Career Tech and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Roadrunners. The Rattlers haven't had much luck with the Roadrunners recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Mojave saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadin Broadnax, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Broadnax has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Mojave's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Southeast Career Tech, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

Mojave does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will challenge Coronado at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Roadrunners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
