Baseball Recap: Colorado Springs Christian Comes Up Short

Colorado Springs Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Harrison on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Harrison Panthers by a score of 4-2. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 8-6 to the Panthers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Colorado Springs Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Howland, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That hit was Howland's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Colorado Springs Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Colorado Springs Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st. Colorado Springs Christian is facing Sierra at the right time seeing as Sierra is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Harrison, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Harrison Panthers face off against Elizabeth Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elizabeth will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Harrison surely won't give up without a fight.
