Soccer Recap: Croatan Takes a Loss

Croatan's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-0 to the Dixon Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Croatan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Dixon are ranked 26th).

This is the second loss in a row for Croatan and nudges their season record down to 4-3-2. As for Dixon, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

Croatan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Southwest Onslow on the 2nd. As for Dixon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against White Oak on the 4th.
