The East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-54 win over Pocono Mountain East. With that victory, East Stroudsburg South brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
It was another big night for Jaen Chatman, who scored 38 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of East Stroudsburg South's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mareek Williams, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for East Stroudsburg South and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Pocono Mountain East, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-1.
East Stroudsburg South will head out on the road to face off against Bethlehem Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bethlehem Catholic is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. Pocono Mountain East will be home for the holidays to greet Wallenpaupack Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wallenpaupack Area is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
