Classical and Mt. Pleasant are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Purple are taking a road trip to square off against the Kilties at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Classical is looking for their season's first win.

Classical lost 8-1 to Woonsocket on Tuesday.

Classical saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allen Espinal, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Pleasant). Everything went their way against Times Squared Academy on Wednesday as they made off with a 25-0 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Kilties with their most commanding win of the season.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Classical couldn't quite finish off Mt. Pleasant in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 4-2. Can the Purple avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
