Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short on the Road Against Ropes

Roosevelt kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 21-0 to Ropes. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Roosevelt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Bradshaw, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Ropes' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will challenge Merkel at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ropes, they will square off against Stamford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
