Volleyball Recap: Robertsdale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Robertsdale can now relate to. They came up short against the Bayside Academy Admirals on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Admirals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Kyleigh Beck paced Robertsdale's offense, picking up five kills. Beck were helped by Macy Smith and Lola Mosley, who contributed seven assists each.

Julia Savage was the offensive standout of the match as she had five aces and four digs.

Robertsdale has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-29 record this season. As for Bayside Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-16 record this season.

Robertsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bayside Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Fairhope on the 16th.
