Basketball Recap: Altavista Comes Up Short

Altavista lost against William Campbell back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Altavista Colonels received a blow as they fell 47-28 to the William Campbell Generals.

Altavista dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for William Campbell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

When Altavista and William Campbell next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Altavista will try to stop Appomattox County's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, William Campbell will square off against Parry McCluer and their six-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
