Softball Recap: Warrensburg-Latham Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Central A & M the last time they met, Warrensburg-Latham decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals skirted past the Raiders 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Warrensburg-Latham's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Central A & M, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warrensburg-Latham will challenge Meridian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central A & M, they will take on Lincolnwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
