Wagener-Salley never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the North Eagles. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won three matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Makenley Walling made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.
