Mary G. Montgomery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They managed a 55-51 victory over Baker. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Daphne, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 52-39 win over Robertsdale on Thursday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Golden Bears are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Daphne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Mary G.
