Basketball Game Preview: Stigler Panthers vs. Talihina Golden Tigers

The Stigler Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Talihina Golden Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stigler will be strutting in after a win while Talihina will be coming in after a defeat.

Stigler took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed by Wilburton to the tune of 51-23. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Talihina came up short against Vian on Monday and fell 56-43.

Stigler's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.2 points. As for Talihina, they now have a losing record at 0-1.

Stigler came up short against Talihina in their previous matchup back in January, falling 40-34. Can Stigler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
