Volleyball Recap: Keys Gate Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Keys Gate can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions on Tuesday. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Keys Gate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-17.

Keys Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Keys Gate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ransom Everglades on the 16th.
