Baseball Recap: Antigo Takes a Loss

The matchup between Antigo and Rhinelander on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Red Robins fell 11-8 to the Hodags. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 9, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Zach Bula led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Gordon Lucht was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Antigo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Rhinelander, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Antigo is set to take on their familiar foe Medford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rhinelander will square off against rival Mosinee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
