Soccer Game Preview: Apalachee vs. Walnut Grove

The Apalachee Wildcats will take on the Walnut Grove Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Apalachee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Apalachee fell victim to Loganville and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Lanier on Friday and fell 3-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Walnut Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Apalachee might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Walnut Grove in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Apalachee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
